Thanks for visiting the Friends of the Auburn Avenue Research Library (FOAARL) website. ~ About Us ~ The Friends of the Auburn Avenue Research Library (FOAARL) is a non-profit, community-based group dedicated to supporting the Auburn Avenue Research Library. It cultivates a closer relationship between local, national, and international communities and the Research Library; increases public awareness of and expands the use of AARL; initiates, organizes, promotes and encourages cultural and educational activities; and, stimulates gifts, collections and endowments for AARL, as well as raise funds to support Research Library activities. ~ FOAARL's Mission ~ Support excellence in the collection and services of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library, specifically the Auburn Avenue Research Library. Aid the Library in its efforts to respond to the community’s need and high expectation for information services, through financial support, volunteer labor, as well as timely and appropriate counsel.
